Lupin III chronicles the adventures of Arsène Lupin Sansei, the world`s greatest thief, and his partners in crime: master marksman Jigen Daisuke, beautiful and scheming Mine Fujiko and stoic samurai Ishikawa Goemon XIII. Lupin and his gang travel around the globe in search of the world`s greatest treasures and riches and always keeping one step ahead of the tireless Inspector Zenigata, who has vowed to bring Lupin to justice.Note: The R1 episode ordering differs from the original, mainly due to episode 3, which was moved to episode 26. Reasoning being the Nazi themed content which Pioneer Entertainment (USA) wanted to release only after the viewers made themselves familiar with the franchise. There are other discrepancies in the footage itself due to copyright infringement issues. The episodes 145 and 155 (both by Hayao Miyazaki) have been released previously on VHS by Streamline Pictures (US) as "Tales of the Wolf" and "Greatest Capers" (compilation tape)
